Came home Thurs to check on the bees around lunch time and heard some barking coming from the bushes. The neighbors got a worthless little pound dog for Christmas, a weiner dog.

They were supposed to keep it on a leash, but their words hardly ever mean what their actions actually do. My words, a warning that there may be traps in my yard, was a fact.

I sit him up by the trees so they could see it when they come home. Of course, it was the weiner dogs fault it was loose, and they hoped it learned a lesson. About 30 minutes later it was back by the back door barking at my other halfs ankles. Its too stupid to learn a lesson.

I bet that put a smile on your face!!!

I for one love all dogs and as long as they aren't tearing up anything or aren't terrorizing my dogs I don't have a problem with the neighbor dogs visiting.

How can a little weiner dog hurt your bees? Are you afraid it might need a little attention? It's well known that thier bark is much worse than thier bite. :have-a-nice-day:

BTW, I'd take a worthless little pound dog over just about any other store bought breed.

Have a nice day.

If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

I my self have two pound dogs. Like Buzz, I would never buy a puppy mill pooch.

I am somewhat surprised you didn't shoot him and hang the carcass from the tree as a warning to all neighbors what a badass tough guy you are. I mean are they not aware of the arsenal you have at your disposal? How long does it take for one to decide what weapon they are going to use to dispatch neighborhood varmits?

And least your bees know where the boundry lines are and neve cross them. Them thar bees is smart I tell ya!

Perhaps a walled compound would be a solution?
