chris3179 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 i am trying to dial in my box with just a few cranks for trolling. what does everyone else use? i know f and f uses flicker shad, i have picked those up and they are great.
Feathers and Fins Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Flickershad and Rapalas for 10 to 25ft Roostertails panther martins, rattletraps for 2 to 10 ft All depends on what you are after, but those are my tops. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
rps Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 On 10/2 braid an original series wiggle wart will fish 8 to 25 feet, depending on line length, and is much cheaper than a rapala dt. To go deeper than 25 feet, I use a Cabelas knock off of the reef runner. You might find this article helpful: http://www.ozarkanglers.com/table-rock/trolling-for-walleye/
Quillback Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 If you're trolling for crappie, Bandit 300's work well and you'll pick up an occasional walleye.
Stump bumper Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I like to pull a tail dancer once in a while, it is a walleye lure but catches more spots than anything for me. In the spring a redfin trolled with the rod up high to keep it waking will get some big fish to hit and the longer the line the easier to wake.
Members doohickey Posted April 5, 2013 Members Posted April 5, 2013 We've caught more fish trolling with a Rapala jointed shad-rap in shad color than anything else. Lots of kentucky's, hybrids, crappie, you name it. I just started using a Rapala trolls-to in clown color and got my first Walleye last weekend.

Feathers and Fins Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 6 7 9 9 I like for 8 to 12 ft to really thump the bottom hard, I go through 4 to 8 every time out doing that but get tons of bites because of it. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
