npierceuark Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Fished last night after work and it got a little chilly but the fish were still active. Water temps around 53 up by twin with a nice blue stain to the water. Caught fish on a variety of lures including the flyrod but the pride and joy of the evening came on the a rig. Rigged it with 2.5" pearl curly tails and one chartreuse. Hit it like a 10lb hammer and bit the green. Saw a couple other nice hybrids pulled out around there that evening as well.

Quillback Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Nice one, pound for pound, I don't know many freshwater fish that fight harder than those hybrids.
