Hunter91 Posted April 28, 2013 Author Posted April 28, 2013 We were on Big Sac arm. Fishin steeper banks no points. 18-22 fow. I tie my own harnesses. Didnt seem to matter what color the spinner and beads were. We caught them on yellow/orange, green, silver. On indiana blades and willow leaf blades.

Unlike tying flies, the product is cheaper than store bought, it gives us something to do in the winter, and we can experiment with various rigs and colors. Most use 10 to 15 pound line and snell 2 wide gap walleye hooks in #2 or #4 size about 3 inches apart. They stack 5 or six beads above the lead hook then put a clevis with the blade above it followed by a final bead. They tie the leader in 3 o4 foot lengths and attach a swivel or tie a loop. I use a slightly different recipe. Follow this link: http://www.ozarkanglers.com/white-river-walleye-on-worm-harness/

Jerry Rapp Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 rps, sort of sounds like a chandelier rig for walleye.
ozarkgunner Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 I got 3 keepers sat and a limit and then some (turned lose) on Sunday. 18-20 foot on the main lake on rocky shorelines. Angler At Law
