Members Wildeye Posted May 21, 2013 Members Posted May 21, 2013 Just heard the same storm that dropped the massive tornado in Moore is overtop of beaver lake right now. Everything well? Moore is a disaster

J-Doc Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 My neighborhood made the news. One tree on a house. My tree is "gone" literally and I don't make the news. Lol! We lost our pool and our fence in backyard is laying down......because the pool took it out. And I was just about to fill it with water too. Just my luck.... Hey.....at least the boat is dry and safe! :-) Priorities man! Lol! Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
J-Doc Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 What I will be messing with over the weekend instead of fishing. :-( A neighbor claims he wants the tree and will come get it for free. He either had too many beers before the storm or he really wants some free firewood. Lol! Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! jeb Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 No problem in the Prarire Creek area that I'm aware of. We lost power for about 2 hours, but that's not bad for living in the country with a storm like this rolling through. Heart goes out to the folks in Moore, though. Feathers and Fins Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Looks like we all got lucky, I've been getting pics and talking to friends who are working the storms and Moore got destroyed these are friends like me who its been our job for many years to work these storms and I've never heard their voices cracking so bad, My heart goes out to Everyone affected. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

Amen, sir. Sifting through rubble hoping to find children still breathing. I can't fathom that burden.
Sprint21fter Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Its a terrible thing, especially when children are involved.
Wayne SW/MO Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Hard to know for sure going by pictures J-doc, but that tree looks like a lightening victim. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
