TSmith Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Iv never fished this river before. I have just moved to Marshfield and was wondering if there where and good spots on the extreme lower end of the river around Hartville and Marshfield? I believe that fishing is usually better when there is a full moon. People are more crazy when there is a full moon. Thank God He made fish the way He did so I can have better fishing when people are crazier than normal.
Greasy B Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Upper end? His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
Wayne SW/MO Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Like Greasy said that's the upper, it flows uphill to the north. There are some fords and accesses within easy reach of I-44 and there is the Osage Fork that is easily reached and has some MDC accesses. Do you have Tryon's book? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Gavin Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Theres alot of water to cover between Hartville and I-44. I'm sure that you can find some fish on it..Heres a map to get you started. http://www.missouricanoe.org/river-maps/gasconade.html
