Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 26, 2013 Root Admin Posted May 26, 2013 I have 4 packages of sample strike indicator systems to give away to the first 4 people who PM me their mailing addresses. You'll need to try it and then report back to the forum - what you think about it.
Brian K. Shaffer Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Phil - did he come out with any yellow yarn ??? I emailed him about it and he said he would do it for us color blinded guys - or guys who prefer yellow. By the way, this system works really good on low wind days, and you can put a lot of weight on it. Brian K. Shaffer Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 This is how it works : Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
JCWolfe Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I believe I first saw these on NAFFF. I want to see how well they stay in place with smaller tippet. Should land softer I would think. Okiemountaineer
Wayne SW/MO Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Does it use egg yarn? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Brian K. Shaffer Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I like it with 5X and a little weight, sometimes 2 flies even. But I have not tried it 6 or 7X... I use smaller indicators for those X ratings anyways. Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
