Haven't used them as a waker. Used to throw them back in the late 80's as a topwater minnow / stick bait in ponds.

I thought about it maybe working as a wakebait when I saw it in bass pro the other day. Never tried it, but would love to know if it works. Quill if you try it, let us know...

Well I probably will not pick one up unless I get some reports of them working well as a wake bait.
