Feathers and Fins Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 I agree 100% on the Desert. Even if you are flying in to San D. Take the time to drive out to the Imperial Valley and experiance it. One of the most fantastic NWR's is out there in the Sonny Bono NWR use to be the Imperial Wildlife Refuge on the Salton Sea. Dont stay on the main roads but take a couple side roads and walk a few of the washes the amount of wildlife is unreal in the desert. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

ness Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Looks great! Sierras are on my bucket list. mic: that's a great trip you're talking about. My favorite thing on your list are the redwoods. We've done Muir Woods north of San Francisco a couple times, and it's spectacular. You can't fish in there, but it's pretty cool to see the salmon in the streams in there. John
