do you float a sit inside kayak?

I've owned 3 SOT kayaks and they didn't have enough back support.

I sold them due to a back injury.

I looked at the Coosa and its nice but much heavier than I like.

Ive been thinking about the stand up paddle boards, but I might try a sit inside if its got a high back seat.

I have a sit in yak. If I get the gumption I will get a solo canoe or a different yak. I have the old Phase 3 seating on the WS, but that is old. It's still better than most, It's not bad really. My brother just bought a Diablo stand up board? He likes it of course he has never had a portable boat!
