oneshot Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Been seeing bigger Trout in the river than last couple years.Think their releasing better quality? oneshot
Wayne SW/MO Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Have they released recently? It could also be that they had a run get a little bigger and they didn't want to start any grumbling about size in the park. I was told many years ago that they didn't like to dump any bigger than average fish in the park because then people would ask why they didn't always do that. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

dennis boatman Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 ...if the creeks don't rise, I may give it a try on Tuesday...I'll give my thoughts then...I haven't been on the river since March... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
curtisce Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Floated from Barclay to Lead Mine Friday/Saturday. fishing for smallies but landed about 6 trout on a green finese worm all 14-15" Caught the last one about a mile above Lead Mine.Times I've caught trout up by NRO they were much smaller. The answer may not lieĀ at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check
dennis boatman Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 ...now I see the river has risen...maybe next week... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
