I just ment glass traps. They were and still are the best ones. The wire mesh and plastic one are still kosher.

Glass is good unless you are in the Scenic Riverways as far as I know. As a rule, I don't carry glass on any stream and never really thought about the old glass traps. I use the wire ones and have for years.

Ok yeah, Ive never messed with glass. Wire is all I own. The only problem I have with those is those sticky finger fokes that like taking them. Maybe if I hook a worm shocker up to one......

Glass is good unless you are in the Scenic Riverways as far as I know. As a rule, I don't carry glass on any stream and never really thought about the old glass traps. I use the wire ones and have for years.

It is my understanding that glass and styrofoam are banned from streams in Missouri.

I actually quit trapping and just went to seining. It is much quicker and you get a greater variety. It will also give you a great insight into the health of the stream.

For good worm gathering, try a five gallon bucket of hot soapy water poured on a good spot.
