Plateau had a Christmas party/fundraiser this evening. I won this badass umpqua boat box full of flies.

Congratulations on your win! I tied the 5 white-ish midges...

There was a good turn out for the party. People were coming and going, but there were always between 20 and 30 present.

The food was really good, and the discounts too!

well since somuchwater already bumped this from last year I will add to it:

where is this shop?

and how does it compare price and selection wise with Bass Pro?

On South Campbell in Springfield, just north of Battlefield.

As far as price? Probably about the same.

As far as selection? Bass Pro isn't even close. Never has been, never will be.

And as a bonus these guys actually know what they are talking about.

Carp-A-po-lu-sa (Probably spelled that wrong) ended this weekend with a bash at the shop.

Some great prizes were handed out and a good time was had by all as best I could tell.

Looking forward to next year and hopefully I'll be on the board this time.
