Crappie Cranking

I've done we'll trolling crainkbaits (bandits and flicker shad) at Stockton and cape fair for crappie, but have quickly learned the dam area is tough! I've picked up a few in clevenger in 40 fow around 10-15ft deep around 1.5 mph. Has anyone had any luck with the method in brushy or cricket? Or for that matter the k-dock area of bull shoals? I've had my best luck on number 5 flickers and 300 series bandits

Well, I guess no one trolls cranks for crappie in cricket or brushy. I suppose I will be the first to give it a try. I will keep everyone posted to what happens....stay tuned!

I'll be interested to hear how you do. I've trolled Bandit 300's on Beaver a few years ago and caught crappie and walleye, but never have on Table Rock.

I troll cape fair area a lot. Troll for crappies. Get th on green and orange shifters.
