Members Cholgerson Posted June 20, 2013 Members Posted June 20, 2013 I have been dreaming of having a nice bass boat since I was a teenager fishing out of a canoe in the 80's. I finally got one. I've been fishing between aunts creek and cape fair. I've had a couple good days but I can't seem to have consistent results to develop my skills. I'm looking foreword to the advice from everyone to make me a better fisherman. I am impressed with what I've read so far. Thanks.
RSBreth Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Keep reading the Table Rock forum and you'll be on information overload!
flyman Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Welcome! I'm in the same boat (couldn't help it). Just got my boat 5 weeks ago. It sure changes the game doesn't it? I have been fishing from a canoe for years. Did quite a bit of wading and fly fishing too. Still a lot of fun and I will always continue to fish that way. The boat just adds another dynamic to fishing. Passion became addiction. There are some friendly people here that have helped me quite a bit.
Wayne SW/MO Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I'm sure you'll pick up some valuable tips from the TR forum. There are some guides around who don't have a problem sharing information, not to mention some skilled individuals. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Members Cholgerson Posted June 20, 2013 Author Members Posted June 20, 2013 Well here is my new rig. I looked for years always finding reasons to get one or not. I have to say being patient will help you on price and quality. I have already added LED lights everywhere and upgraded electronics. I am very pleased with it. Its not the biggest boat out there. I could always use a little more storage space. I guess its like a woman's purse. It doesn't matter how big it is, its always full.
