I know a lot of people are not willing to share this but I am curious as to what everyone's favorite lures are for the James?

Chicken liver and stink baits-no bass allowed..GO CATFISH!!!!!

Rebel craw, zara puppy, hula grub.

The same baits that work on the Buffalo or Niangua or Kings or the Gasconade or whatever SMB stream you like.

No magic bullet for any particular stream. Use the right tool for that day's job.

Yeah - pick a lures from almost anywhere in Bass Pro and will would sometime. I like compact spinnerbaits, finesse jigs, hard and soft jerkbaits (think XRap and Fluke) shallow and medium running cranks, and topwaters like poppers and walk-the-dog lures like a Sammy. Sometimes I'll use a wacky rigged finesse worm or Senko.
