Members delopez Posted July 9, 2013 Members Posted July 9, 2013 I fished this two weeks ago, throwing large galloup patterns in yellow, olive, brown, and white and didn't land one brown. In fact, if you find a black, flying pig 8 weight with a greys cassette reel, loaded with a rio outbound short intermediate, that's mine... On the other hand, I hear that the better fishing is from blair, down... I have since tied my patterns smaller and they are the length of the palm of my hand. I hope I have better luck next time. If anyone catches this rod and reel, let me know, please. Thanks!
Nick Williams Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 I lost a rod two weeks as well. Ultralight lines with 6lb flouro, bass pro tournament series reel, 5 1/2 ft rod, rebel craw tied on at the end. Sucks.... - Nick
Members delopez Posted July 9, 2013 Author Members Posted July 9, 2013 I wonder how many rods are at the bottom of that river...
Members go4ducks2 Posted July 10, 2013 Members Posted July 10, 2013 I don't know but I gotta go there, just got back from Taneycomo and found one nice anchor, one rod and reel and one pair of Expensive sun glasses and wasn't even trying....they were right in the open laying on the bottom. If any of the stuff is yours and you can describe the items and live in St. Louis you more than welcome to come and get them.
Members delopez Posted July 10, 2013 Author Members Posted July 10, 2013 If you find the greys reel on a flying pig rod (black blank), with an intermediate rio outbound short and a galloup sex dungeon (if it hasn't deteriorated by now), that's mine.
gotmuddy Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 locals patrol the water with snorkles so not much gets left on the bottom of the river. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Members delopez Posted July 10, 2013 Author Members Posted July 10, 2013 I bet they can make a fortune off most rivers in south mo...
