we fished the fished big cove up the river from bolivar landing to the left. we stayed mostly around the timber at the mouth of the cove and caught crappie off the secondary point on a brushpile. we moved back across the cove and worked the bluff headed back towards the landing the last hour and thats where i picked up most my keepers. i think you were right about brushpiles on the main lake but the feela i was fishing with had caught so many crappie in that cove in the past it was hard to get him to try something new. good luck today. tight lines!
