Diamond City Fisher Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Saw this article on Wired to Fish on Rodney Ply's world record. It also has a link to an ABC news story. http://www.wired2fish.com/angler-sues-igfa-after-denying-world-record-status/
Quillback Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 If the umbrella rig is legal in AR, I don't see how they can deny it's a world record.
Feathers and Fins Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Legal in Arkansas PERIOD IGFA rules are clear as well http://www.igfa.org/images/uploads/files/IGFA%20International%20Angling%20Rules_English.pdf Look at the section under lures and then under spreader bars. Neith say A-RIG and from the pictures of the Anglers rig also fall under IGFA rules. The fish is the World Record and should be certified as such and he is intitled to the money.
