Members hambandit Posted August 12, 2013 Author Members Posted August 12, 2013 I did the scouting for you guys. And I checked on this dude he says come an get me It's not impossible by any means but it's high and quick. Jamestown Bridge is kinda sketchy. 6' ish rapids and just all around choppy water. A lot of 2' swells. Speaking of that...Theres a pretty nice medium action spinning combo somewhere downstream and my buddy would be pretty stoked if someone picked it up. Don't be a girlyman get out there before it gets cold!
RSBreth Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I usually say that's one of my reasons I like a solo canoe better than a 'Yak - less likely to lose stuff. BUT - I did lose a casting rod/reel combo with one of my favorite spinnerbaits further downstream a couple of weeks ago!
Wayne SW/MO Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Real men fish in the cold. The first 2 weeks of November can be awesome if you know where some good holes are. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Wayne SW/MO Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 yeah and it's hard to beat the stability of SOT's for it. I wear neoprene's just in case though. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
