Members JigChunker Posted August 18, 2013 Members Posted August 18, 2013 I'm a new user from north Alabama. My home lake is Guntersville Lake. I am fishing Table Rock for the first time this September as a co-angler in the PAA Tournament and I am trying to learn about the lake before I get there . Tight Lines
Quillback Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Welcome! Hopefully you'll let us know how your trip to The Rock to fish the PAA turns out. Good luck BTW.
rps Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Good luck and please tell us how our TR differs from and is alike to Guntersville. BTW, the best advice on TR is turn around throw to the deep water, not the bank.
Feathers and Fins Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Welcome and I agree with RPS, if you are throwing at the bank your wasting time, turn around and throw the other way. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Members JigChunker Posted August 19, 2013 Author Members Posted August 19, 2013 Thanks for the replies. I can tell you the main difference between Guntersville and TR is Guntersville is a relatively shallow grass lake (mllfoil and hydrilla) and from what I understand TR is a deep, clear lake. The deepest I fish here is 15-20 feet, so it looks like I will be learning how to fish a little deeper.
