lonkm Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Since there are no new reports, I take it the fishing sucks on both ends of the lake.
Wayne SW/MO Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I would imagine everyone is relearning the lake. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Ham Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I would imagine since I can easily catch lots of fish on creeks and rivers that I'll do that until its too cool to wet wade. Once the weather is lots cooler, I'll turn the BassCat loose on Lower Bull Shoals. I'll have trip reports then. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Kramr Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Ham, Have you turned your Basscat loose yet? Gonna be there in a few weeks, trying to nail down an area so we don't have to motor too far.
Forsythian Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I fished the Diamond City area pretty hard last Saturday. The only thing I can report is that it was a nice day weather-wise. Cenosillicaphobiac
Jeff Olson Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I also fished for 8 hrs on Saturday, very nice out, but only had 1 walleye, 3 crappie and of coarse quite a few small bass. w-temp was still 83 .
Ham Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Nope. Nary a trip on BSL. I've made 4 trips this month and caught 250 fish, but none from BSL. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
powerdive Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 I fished Sunday from Tucker to Diamond City. One walleye, on a trolled crank. You can see a ton of show on sonar, but I think the fish are stuffed full of shad. Anyway, I haven't figured out how to make them bite. Lonkm is right--no news is usually bad news.

What type of area were you seeing fish in (points, flats, drop offs) and at what depths?
powerdive Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Deep flats/edges, 28-40+. There are some deeper, but no sense bringing those fish that far up this time of year. As if I could catch 'em anyway.
