Geoff Posted August 30, 2013 Author Posted August 30, 2013 Carp was super early in the year, so it didn't fight too much. that's the only one I've caught this year too last year I caught a bunch of them. "When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all."
E Green Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 awesome fish! that first bluegill is huge! what kind of fish is that in the third picture? thanks for posting pics...very cool
Geoff Posted September 11, 2013 Author Posted September 11, 2013 Yup, just a regular old drum. Funny thing is thats the first one i've ever caught on a fly rod...even though they are everywhere. "When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all."
dennis boatman Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Nice variety...the elusive Walleye on Flyrod is my goal...maybe bext year...did it in Canada... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
Geoff Posted September 12, 2013 Author Posted September 12, 2013 Yeah a walleye would be cool. I know a place where they come in off the Mississippi to spawn, there might be some little ones there now but I need to actually go.
