Leonard
Well I met up with topjaw and centerpunch today... fishing started out slow.. but then got better... hit the water about 10am.. and fished till about 1:30... it looked like they were running 2 generators... but I guess it was just 1 all the way.. started up around chute 1 (well fished in it)caught nothing...as the water started dropping I noticed some working the top Im guessing a good midge hatch... well from the I started fishing a #16 softhackle, picked up 4.. broke it off (the last one I had).. so I put on a #18 crackleback, caught 3 more.. well they broke for lunch and I stayed (thanks guys for lunch!!) well they were gone less then 10 minutes and I caught 4 in that time... ate lunch and the the fishing took off... I pick about 7 more fish on a good'ol white wooly.. I caught some where around 15 fish by 1:30... I would add their report... but I'll leave it to them.. they have 2 reports to add.. todays and last nights... Guys... you never showed me the picture...LOL Im waiting!! tippet7
Were you the guys that hooked and landed that big fish? i couldnt tell what it was from where i was, i know i saw it jump 2 times and thought to myself, "thats odd, i havent seen any flying footballs around here today" i did real well using an elk hair caddis out in the current with a #20 zebra midge dropper. i probably caught 30 fish, nothing over 18 (and that was my very 1st fish of the day) but it sure as hell beat working! You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.

Center Punch
allright guys. im sorry for the delay. before i post the pic i gotta tell ya the funny thing about this. topjaw, myself, and his buddy were doing some night fishing. topjaw was planking around with a topwater skater, i was using a leonard special sculpin pattern with a fish whistle tied inside it, and im not sure what his buddy was using(these were not the only flies we used but the main ones) i caught about 10 fish in 30mins and missed about 50+ hits before losing it on a decent feeling fish(all were small rainbows excluding one brown that was almost smaller than the sculpin.) after that i couldnt get hooked up to save my life. now i know why you get at least 2 of everything anyway, next thing i know i here topjaw hooting and hollering(i thought there might have been a naked dancer up by outlet 2 or something) i go up there and he is fighting this nice rainbow. it looked small until i tried to net it and the pic can tell the rest of the story. where it really gets interesting is that the rainbow he caught had marks on her back where a heron got ahold of her. go to chartedwaters.com and go to their fishing reports. scroll down towards the bottom and that is the exact fish that he caught. we measured this gal at 24 inches and they said it was 26 inches. but...... we were not using a fishing tape measure so that might have been the difference or......maybe the fish is shrinking with its old age. anyway the pic dont show it real good because it was rolled back a little but believe us, its the same fish. www.troutchapters.com >>>---------->(x) Jared
Center Punch
daytime report of 12/03. started fishing at 9:30 ish in outlet 1. i was using a 5 weight 9 foot rod(used to using 3 and 4 weights that dont exceed 7.5 feet. nonetheless i got alot of hits on a size 16 scud but took me awhile to get the feel on the hooksets. i did hook into quite of few fish including some nice sized rainbows(both pushing 4 lbs.) i only landed the one nice rainbow and about 6 more when leonard arrived. the water at this time was down more and had slowed down a bit more. leonard pretty muched summed the rest of it up. topjaw was doing good on a bleeding leach for awhile. i never did find a hot fly today. i had 1 or 2 here and there. i also had about 15 fish from about 9:30 to 1:30. seemed slow for us but i didnt feel so bad since leonard wasnt knocking them like crazy. dont get me wrong, i have had worse days. at least we learned some new methods of fishing that can sure be a blast(that is unless the fish jerks your pole in the water-which almost happened to me) guys im tired of typing www.troutchapters.com >>>---------->(x) Jared
