Brian Sloss Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Took a guide trip today and we had the biggest trout caught so far this Fall. She took a prince nymph, which caught fish all day. Stoneflies and marabou jigs did well also. Every thing was caught by fishing deep. Also caught a few swinging a olive wooly bugger through a few of the shoals. The morning was better though the big one came around 1 pm, which was a bit surprising. Steve fought this big fish like a champ, hopefully the pic I attached will show up when I post this. www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497

Forsythian Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Hi Brian, looking forward to the pics. I fished yesterday and today in the Blue Ribbon section. Caught fish both days, but Saturday was gangbusters. Can't wait to go again. Cenosillicaphobiac
Brian Sloss Posted October 7, 2013 Author Posted October 7, 2013 You got dumped on Sat, that was a heavy rain. www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497
Forsythian Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Yessir. I learned a lot about my gear on Saturday. Some good (tent), some bad (rain coat). It was warm though, and the fish were ON. Even caught some midging fish just under the film. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Cenosillicaphobiac
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 7, 2013 Root Admin Posted October 7, 2013 I'll do it for you, Brian. Got it from your facebook post.
Greasy B Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Wow wee, His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
