Guest Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 That water is 70 degrees in the dead of winter. Somethings not right, it should be at least 90 right now. Bed fishing in January is the norm over there.
jeb Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I'd guess demand is just down right now. Air conditioning season is over. So we're kind of in between now. I've yet to turn the heat on in my house, so I'd guess many others have not yet either. John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha

Members Jtbrash Posted November 13, 2013 Members Posted November 13, 2013 Was out there last Sunday. Water temp 78-90 from one end to other. Fished from 7am to noon. Fish are active, had a few bigguns.! Caught a lot of fish.
Quillback Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Sounds like they've turned up the heat at the outlet if you're seeing 90's. That's good news.
Members CornFarmer Posted November 16, 2013 Members Posted November 16, 2013 I went last week and they were pumping water. I think it was the 6th or 7th. We fished around the discharge and just up from it. 86 or so by the discharge area and lower 80's in the pockets around the discharge. Shakey head is what I was throwing. Caught 4 fish close to 4 lbs. We caught fish after fish. Caught well over 40 fish from noon till 6:30. It was a blast. Went with a buddy of mine. It was my first time and definitely won't be my last lol
