rainbow Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Very interesting report. As usual MDC seems to be on top of things when it comes to Taneycomo. I have fished this lake for over 40 years and as far as numbers of fish its as good or better than ever.
Wayne SW/MO Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I always wonder just how accurate the information is about Taney? The lake from 65 to Bull creek doesn't seem to see a lot of boats and bank access is limited and I wonder if there aren't a lot of browns and bigger bows lying low in that area? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

I am confident there are. But trout move around, I believe. That's why we see a bunch of good fish in the trophy area certain times a year, then we don't. I'm sure they're where the food is and there's a lot of forage fish all down through the lake.
