Mitch f Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I read once about a recipe on this forum from either Gavin or Al about crumbling up potato chips and placing them on top of fish fillets and drizzling butter on them. I tried it last week and it was unbelievably good. I cooked it at 500 degrees for like 8-10 minutes. My wife said it was the best fish she had ever eaten. Jason R. Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I've done that with white bass fillets and it is dang good. Either Lays or Ruffles are my preference. http://flyinthesouth.com/
Wayne SW/MO Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Another option is to flavor mayo with what you like, hot pepper, onion, garlic, Old Bay or the like and spread it thin on the fillet instead of butter. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
