Members JerryK Posted October 26, 2013 Members Posted October 26, 2013 We bought in the Aunts Creek near point 10. It has gotten busy in the Summer but it is convenient to Kimberling City and to Branson and Branson West. That was a factor in our decision. Fishing is good all year round and it is easy to get anywhere by boat.
Bill Babler Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 My Uncle lives on the upper Kings, just north of Carr Lane, He can get to about 75% of the lake in less than 30 minutes by land. Works real well for fishing several different sections of the lake. Don't tell him I told you though, or I like you would probably looking for a place too!Real problem with the Kings River. It is one of the major runoff areas for Table Rock lake and for huge periods of time during the year, it can be very muddy and timber filled. It is probably the most inconvenient part of the lake to access any other location. As far as fishing the Kings, there is a crappie population and a LM population. Most often the views and vista's up there are just about as poor as Table Rock has to offer. I just love going up there at times but would never purchase anything up there. You are just locked up. As has been mentioned be very carful with real estate agents here. They will tell you anything and I mean anything to get the sale. Also on purchasing a dock or slip, there is also hundreds of blogs on this forum talking about it. Probably not what you would think.
