Members Griffster Posted October 21, 2013 Members Posted October 21, 2013 How much does that canoe weigh? How wide is it too? How many times do you think you have used it too?
Guest Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 70lbs I will have to measure the sides. It was a canoe from Turner Bend, so its been used. No, leaks, holes, dents, etc. It was the best looking hull out of a group of 12.
Gavin Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Have not floated the 15'...but the 16' buffalo paddles well..Might make a good solo for the big & tall.

ollie Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 You bought that from Turner Bend and there wasn't any dents on the bottom? Man you scored big time if that's the case! "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!

Yeah, I got the pick of the litter. Its got scratches and all, but its never been folded around a boulder. The "Turner Bend" model has slightly higher sides with a little bit narrow width. They designed it for standing waves and whitewater. Its been a really good canoe, but I need to sell it.
Guest Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 There are several beater aluminum canoes on CL for $500... Wow!!!
