mic Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 My kid sister coached her Polo girls softball team to District champs in NW Missouri for the second year in row. Hopefully this year they will make it to State. PS... why didn't they have cool posters like this when I was in school.
Justin Spencer Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 We don't have software teams in Ozark county, wish we did. Must be a north Missouri thing.:-) "The problem with a politician’s quote on Facebook is you don’t know whether or not they really said it." –Abraham Lincoln Tales of an Ozark Campground Proprietor Dead Drift Fly Shop
Justin Spencer Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 I fixed it...smart&*^*&^ Oh, we do have softball, now the poster makes more sense. Our girls won districts but lost to Oran 3-0 in their first game. It is fun watching them play, they all work hard and the coach deserves tons of credit as we got a new coach 3 years ago and have won districts 3 years in a row (before that we stunk). Congrats to your sister, she must be doing a good job! mic Posted October 25, 2013 Author Posted October 25, 2013 Thanks. I'm really proud of her. Her husband has changed the football team around also. They are perfect coaching couple for any school district... specially for a small one like Polo.
Wayne SW/MO Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 My daughter started softball at 7 and played until she was 40. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
exiledguide Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 We didn't have posters when I was in school. I did have a Kodack Brownie camera.
Wayne SW/MO Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 We didn't have posters when I was in school. I did have a Kodack Brownie camera. You had a camera? All I had was a Viewmaster! Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
lee G. Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I had a Brownie and a view master, thats why I am now one of the best nature photographers on my entire farm!!
exiledguide Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Lee G I wish I had been born rich. Years ago taking a picture was a big deal and if you were poor you didn't get film developed until every picture was taken, so some times you would get pictures that had Xmas on the first part of the roll and Easter at the end. By the way congratulations to your sister and her team, mic
