oneshot Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Never been to the Kings river but have pictures of my Grandma and Mom there in the '30's just makes me think I must visit one day before I pass from this world. oneshot
Wayne SW/MO Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Yup you should. It's not that far if you take the highway 21 from Blue eye to Berryville. Most of the trip is 4 lane for you. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

podum Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Oneshot, do it. I floated the upper Kings last June for the first time. Fantastic place. Go in the spring when there is some water. I'll be back for sure. If you aren't floating, there are some good accesses within easy drive or Eureka Springs. Red Bud Resort is a nice place to stay. Cheers! I wish I had more time more than I wish I had more money.
bfishn Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 If you want to experience the very best of the Kings, I'd highly recommend booking a trip with Jeff Fletcher. His dad (JD) carried on the tradition of the old White River floats there for decades, and Jeff has added a few new tricks to the old ways. I can't dance like I used to.
