Members Tommy Neil Posted November 8, 2013 Members Posted November 8, 2013 Now its catch and release season, Hickory Creek has been stocked with LOTS of fish. Wonder how long they will last?
ollie Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Not more than a month is my bet. "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Big Brown Trout Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 people catch and keep out of season? Let the summer of Carp, begin.
Buzz Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 The poaching was pretty bad the first few years, but has been better the last couple. There is still some that goes on in areas that aren't in view, but for the most part it's a lot better. It's much better in the main park area. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
ollie Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Come on Buzz, you know as well as me they won't be there for long. Maybe a handful by Christmas is my guess.
