They dominated WVA for 35 minutes, didn't look good the last 5. A couple of ill-advised shots, a few missed free throws, a turnover or two. Can't do that in close games; they were lucky they had a big lead.

Clarkson is impressive. Brown and Ross look a little better than they were last year. Clark is looking like he'll be a solid point guard. Still not enough production from the big men. The thing that bothers me is that the big men aren't even an offensive option at this point. The offense is all guard play.

Defense looked better, until they got the big lead and relaxed.

Good analysis, I recorded it and skipped through quite a bit, but my first impression of Mizzou is good guard play, but not a strong inside game from the bigs.

Yes, that would sum it up. Clarkson, Brown, and Ross are all great players.....but we are somewhat limited outside of them. They played well tonight, of course. I have no idea what tonight's win means. West Virginia may be sub -.500 again and this may be an afterthought on selection Sunday-or they may be 4th or 5th in the Big 12 and top 50 in the RPI. More likely it's somewhere in between. Either way, it's a lot better than a loss, and winning a game like this has to add some confidence.

Now it's on to UCLA. I am pretty confident the Bruins are a really good team, so that one is big. Especially because the SEC is having a bit of a rough time in basketball right now. The Big 12/SEC challenge is not working out all that well for the SEC at the moment.

Is that UCLA game Saturday? I'm going to be stuck in the house unless this snow magically disappears. Fortunately lots of football and basketball to watch.

Yep, it is at 11:30 on CBS. Should get done just in time for the SEC championship. A whole day lost to Mizzou sports......too cold to go fishing anyway, so it's all good:)

Mizzou needs to stop turning the ball over. Down 8 heading into the second half. Gonna lose by a lot more than that if they don't settle down.......................

And now they have settled down. Two point Missouri lead with about 12:00 to go. Fantastic game, if you're not watching I'd encourage it.
