It was very quiet this Veteran's Day. I arrived about 1:30 and fished till the siren. Zebra midges were the go-to today. Worked like a charm. I pulled about a dozen to hand, some in the 12-14" range. All of them pretty good fighters. I tried wooly buggers, but no luck. Lots of follows, but no bites. Dry fly action wasn't happening for me either. I found that 7x was required today. They just weren't hitting on 6x tippet, but when I sized down, then action was on.

I stayed in zone 1. Can anyone tell me if you are allowed to wade in zone 2 during c/r season?

You can only wade in the top part of zone 2(the regular C&R area) and you can wade from the F-hwy bridge, down to about

50 YDS above the handi cap dock in zone 2, you can't wade any where else in the park, during the winter C&R season, you can wade all of zone 3, but zone 3 is closed to fishing until march 1st, guess you can go wade down there during the winter, you just can't fish.
