Went before thanksgiving feast. Flat out caught them on a rc stick in pro blue. 3 cast 3 fish 4th cast broke one off. Berkeley vanish flouro is on my shot list. Ended up breaking two off before I set my drag very very light. Caught 8 between 14- 16 inches in an hour

I've used Vanish as a leader for a few years - it's O.K. but you really have to be carefull pulling knots tight and keep it lubed when doing so or you'll burn it and weaken it a lot. What pound test Vanish?

It was 12. Maybe I got a bad batch or something it was also brand new

Check your rod eyelets and your reel for any roughness. Sounds like the bass like what you had. thanks for the report.

Put new line on it and fished the all day the next day with no issues. I did have a bur in the little eye coming out of one of my reels once. That was a pain
