Used to have a 20'36" Supreme that was miserable to use in flat water with anything over a 3.5 MPH wind (even with a trolling motor). A trout would fart and it would push the bow around. It had no keel, no real internal stability/reinforcement, and the box front caused serious hull slap in the chop. Don't get me wrong.....I loved the boat. And, I can't speak for either the 48" or 60" bottom Supremes because I have no experience with them, however, I sold my Supreme and purchased an 18'48" bottom aluminum Mod. V and have been very happy with it in comparison to the 2036. You can run up on the bank and not worry about effecting the gel coat, it cuts through rougher water, will go nearly as shallow as the Supreme and it rides more comfortably. It is hotter than Hades in the Summer, but, that's fixable. Two people can comfortably fly fish out of it with oarlocks in the middle.

Good luck dude.

You said it in your first post. Most guys run semi-vees. There is a reason why. A flat bottom is a great river boat, but when you take into consideration wakes from other boats or just the wind, you hit one and everyone in the boat except the operator behind the console is wet.

I had an 18'6" x 60" semi vee with a 50 Yamaha on it and recently sold it. It was a good boat for the Missouri River and Taneycomo. I've got a 21'x 48" Shawnee with a 15 Yamaha now and it's better for the small rivers down here in SWMO. Neither one is a good ride on windy whitecapped water. But If I was going to pick one, it would be the deeper wider semi vee.

Longs for Cutts - I just watched all the videos, 4 on youtube, about the Stealthcraft 18' ATB (All Terrain Boat), and wow, that thing is awesome! I really like all the well thought out features such as the lights, the 12V outlets, anchor pulley, and trailer cat-walk. Lots of the benefits of a drift boat but just fire up the motor and you're cruising like in a jon boat. The video spokesman planed right over water he claimed to be only 4" deep, and I like being able to clear skinny water. Probably going to be bumpy ride in serious chop though I'm afraid. But hey, get one anyways, it's a sweet boat!
