Makes you wonder if these guys even listen to their coaches anymore, and I'm not just talking about Mizzou, just seems like the disciplinarian type coach, a Bob Knight for example, is vanishing from the college game.

I just hope the coaches aren't promoting this type of play. If so it's probably gonna be a long season.

At least our wrestling team is having a good year ranked No. 7 in the nation. Our grapplers have been doing a great job!

Wrestling is a great sport that doesn't get the attention it should deserve.

Watched Arkansas collapse yet again at Tennessee. They had an 8 point lead with 10 minutes or so left to play and blew it again. They played really tough D, but their offense evaporated once again, they were missing shots badly, taking bad shots, not even hitting the rim. Last couple of minutes players started passing instead of taking open shots - it appears this can't win on the road, blowing a lead thing has gotten into their heads. They should have won last night, they fumbled it away. Frustrating.

Watched the FL at Bama game last night, Bama hung in there, but just could not keep pace at the end. FL hasn't impressed me as far as being a dominant team, but they play smart and do a good job closing games out. Definitely beatable and it will be interesting to see how they do at Mizzou.

Not a great performance by Mizzou today against SC, but at this point I'm taking league wins pretty much however they can be had. This was a 12-20 point game most of the way, but they tried to give it up at the end when South Carolina made a pretty furious rally. That said, I don't think the outcome was ever in much doubt.

So Missouri is now a disappointing, but not disastrous 3-3 in league play, and 15-4 overall.....the latter number sure sounds a lot better. We have the win over UCLA balanced out by two bad losses (Vandy and Georgia.) If the season ended now we'd probably be either one of the last teams let into the NCAA tournament or one the first out. Take your pick.

So this next week may be the biggest of the regular season. A road game at Arkansas on Tuesday is followed by a home game against Kentucky. IF we can somehow, against odds, win both, the early troubles are basically irrelavent. But that is highly, highly unlikely. I'd guess that we beat UK home and lose to Arkansas on the road, because this team has played so much better at home. But we'll have to play well to win either one. If we get swept, we're down to 3-5. That'd be bad, considering we probably need to get to at least 10-8 in conference play to make the big dance.

I'm looking forward to that Tuesday night game. I expect it to be close.

I'm not. I think Arkansas wins in a blowout, honestly.

Well I'd like to see AR win, but they have a bad habit of getting a lead then blowing it in the last 10 minutes. Big game for both teams IMO, as far as NCAA consideration. I'd say it's a "Must" win for AR, and a win at AR would look good on Mizzou's resume.

arkansas wins at arkansas by 10+ and missouri wins at missouri by 10+.......the state of college basketball today!!! missouri loses to kentucky at home because they won't be able to handle the wildcats bigs........where is oriaki when you need him?????

I agree with you on Arkansas.....both teams win big at home. I do think we knock off Kentucky at home. It's just tough to see even a decent Missouri team losing twice at home in one season, and they have played good basketball at home since that Georgia debacle. And we've already knocked off one team here of UK's caliber in UCLA. The Wildcats just aren't anything special, despite their hype in the preseason.

The road game at Florida screams ugly loss, but maybe they'll surprise us.

...the mismatch inside bothers me vs kentucky......even at home!!! arkansas could make the mistake of pressing missouri too much tonite which would allow missouri guards drives to the basket......if arkansas packs in the zone, missouri has little chance to be in it!!!
