Looking to hit the Meramec next weekend in either the Onondaga or Meramec State Park area. Wonder how bad the river is iced over. Anyone seen it with their own eyes?

Only in Fenton from the hiway 44 view, and it's open in the middle

This pic was taken yesterday just above Redhorse.

I don't know if you will be in a jetboat, but one thing I learned a couple weeks ago when I took the Blazer for a ride. The ice along the banks will break up from the wake of the boat and then when you come back you will be running over all the ice junks. What i ran through wasn't very thick but you could definately hear it hitting the boat and going through the jet. If it had been thicker it might of been a problem.

Hw, I usually try and visit my place every weekend when there is nothing else going on. Winter is a good time to tree trims and stuff. But the way the weather has been, I haven’t been there as much this winter. What abouit you? Got your ramp open yet?

The last time I had the boat out a couple weeks ago, there was two other boats running and one of them was a RiverPro. I thought it might have been you or your brother.

This last weekend I was spent both days getting my fishing stuff ready for our White river trip which will be next week- Wednesday to Sunday. I think we will have about 24 guys in our little tournament and I know of another group going with about 15-18 guys. Gonna be a lot of guys from St Louis down there next week.

The pic was taken by the guy who has the place right up from Redhorse on the right with all the nice rock landscaping. You might know him. He lives there and has an office in St. Clair.

Yes I have known John since I was a wee little lad. My ramp is just okay. Put in there but I'm not wanting to boulder in my banks until I know what the next flood does to my little dike I put in.
