Feathers and Fins Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I was going crazy and had to get out... Wont be fishing anytime soon it looks like. MONTNE At the ramp looking to the back Froze all the way out PRAIRIE CREEK Looking from dirt ramp to back solid ice Looking toward the park and its froze over Houses next to ACE HQ not a good day for them https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
J-Doc Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Here's some shots I took yesterday. Which is probably what probed Scott to venture out today. Me sending him photos got his cabin fever up to a breaking point. LOL! This is the back of Monte Ne - Notice all of the gulls and ducks! Duck season closes down and they just hang out like a large party. This is the Hwy 12 Bridge Ramp - covered in snow. Someone had launched as their was one empty trailer and fresh tracks. If you have good snow tires with deep tread, you'll have no problems. Until it turns to ice (when temp drops below 30) Prairie Creek Ramp - whoever was stuck on the ramp should have picked up their "inovative tools" for getting them off the ramp once they got unstuck. Prairie Creek Marina - the main lake is wide open and not frozen but there is a bit of ice at the corner of the marina Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Quillback Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Well, looks like a few more days at least of no fishing.
