I floated from Bennent to NRO, the fishing was tough but I did pick up a few fish. The day started with a morning temp of 10 degrees and "warmed" into the upper 30's.

All in all it was a fun trip; getting outside and spending a day on the Niangua was a great antidote to my winter blues.

Did the same trip today. warm temps amd bright sun but windy. Wind wasn't that much of a problem on the river. no fish to show for it though. tried marabou jigs brown and white also small silver spoon. Saw a few nice trout as we passed no takers nice day otherwise. Talked to one fellow in a kayak. he put in below 64 went down about a mile then paddled back. He said he had been doing well lately but nothing today.
