Members Dman Posted February 21, 2014 Members Posted February 21, 2014 I floated from Bennent to NRO, the fishing was tough but I did pick up a few fish. The day started with a morning temp of 10 degrees and "warmed" into the upper 30's. All in all it was a fun trip; getting outside and spending a day on the Niangua was a great antidote to my winter blues.

curtisce Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Did the same trip today. warm temps amd bright sun but windy. Wind wasn't that much of a problem on the river. no fish to show for it though. tried marabou jigs brown and white also small silver spoon. Saw a few nice trout as we passed no takers nice day otherwise. Talked to one fellow in a kayak. he put in below 64 went down about a mile then paddled back. He said he had been doing well lately but nothing today. The answer may not lieĀ at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check
