Fished on Sunday with pretty decent success and it looks like most other boats were catching whites with good frequency as well. Boats were thick both on the spring and Neosho both days this weekend. Couldn't fit another boat in at twin bridges on Saturday afternoon. Is this still considered pre-spawning or are we in the full on out spawning period? If so, how long does it normally last? Thanks.

Feels a little early, but I thought I would ask if anyone is having luck for white bass up the spring or Neosho rivers yet? Going to try to get out this weekend around twin bridges, but haven't made up my mind yet on which way to go.

I always liked Spring better.

I went across cowskin bridge Tuesday. It was still really foggy and I couldn't see real good, but I did see the funniest thing on the water I have ever seen before. It looked like an oil streak running with the channel. It wasn't an oil slick. It looked like just one streak of the lake had turned over. I really don't know what it was and I don't know if anybody else is an area that day that could report on it.

My buddy has been killing them up the Spring. Had been for quite a while.

Depends on your boat. 10 is a terrible ramp so anything glass I would run up from twin, aluminum I use 10.

Thanks. It is a 16ft aluminum so 10 would be manageable. I had planned on putting in at 10 and fishing around there to start and if nothing was going on heading down towards the power lines to the south. Going to start by throwing 1-2'' chartreuse and/or white minnow on an 1/8 or 1/16th oz road runner jig head. If you thought something else would be better this weekend I would be all ears.

If temps are low 50's fish the flats just above the docks.... move until you find fish on your graph. If you cant find fish, find the boats thats where they are. Bait shouldn't matter more finding the fish. Ill hopefully make it out monday if i can get away. Let us know how you do.

I put this in another post, but we did not fair very well yesterday. The water was filthy, cold and running fast with the rain on Saturday, and there was also a lot of debris floating in it. We put in at 10 and fish down to the boat houses for a few hours and caught a handful of whites, but most were smaller then we usually see. A friend of mine trolled on the Spring yesterday from the power lines and to the south for a few hours and caught a dozen, but the boat traffic just got to be so thick it was difficult to manage.
