I'm hoping to head out to the twin bridges area next week to chase the whites with my fly rod. Where are the best areas for wading? I have missed the run in the past so this will be my first time out there.

Hard to say with these storms coming in. I would just start walking down river from the bridges and hitting points and inside turns.

I reckon my question was more about the depth of the river and if a person is able to wade in it. I have never been out there, just driven over it.

Yes there are places to wade the area. If you pull up Google Earth and go to 2006 you will see a lot of nice places. No one is better than another IMO when I go up there for wading I just start at the bridges and start walking and enjoying the day, every so often I find a ton of them in one spot and none in another but its more about enjoying the walk to me.

There are several good gravel bars down river if you are willing to walk and you can get away from the crowds. Yesterday there was a couple of fly fisherman wading off the gravel bars and they were reeling them in right and left.
