Upriver Update?

Thanks to Nick for a tip I ran up the river today, 39 crappie 27 were bucks and im still trying to figure out how a 4 inch crappie eats a #9 Flicker Shad, what the hell was he thinking?

"It ain't the size of the fish in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the fish....."

"That shad looks like the one that slapped my Mama...."

"Nemo!"

"Rocky! Rocky! Rocky!"

That's all I got, boss....

So what is going on with this run? I can't figure out if is just getting started or if it is almost over?? Any thoughts?

My two cents for what its worth... I am betting the little monsters have been running up between cold fronts and doing their thing in groups in stead of one massive run. I base it off the fact I have been seeing whites of varying sizes back down river again so made me think some have done the nasty some are doing it and some are still getting ready too.

Joe, I bet I can hit you with a shad from 50 ft at least lol.
