straw hat Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I just thought I would let everyone know that there is a new bait shop at the CC bridge. To be exact it is about a half mile east of the bridge. It is called, appropriately, CC Bait Shop. The gentleman operating it seems nice and he is stocked with most basic lures and 2 types of minnows (crappie & shiners). I fished the area while I was there and did not see much caught, including by me. lol Water temp had dropped to 46.

waterpossum Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Thanks for the info. I come in from the west, but like to patronize people trying to get started. Is there a good turnaround when I pull the boat off?

Members Rick Baker Posted May 18, 2014 Members Posted May 18, 2014 He also has cold beer and a campground. Got minnows from him twice now. Not one died in the bucket or failed to catch a fish. Nice guy. Keeps his minnow tanks clean.
