oneshot Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I went checked my worms out. They are doing good, I have about a hundred, wish I had couple more.
jdmidwest Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 How are you raising them? I was going to start a bed this year. Back when I was young on the farm, we dug a hole with the backhoe and buried an old freezer. Filled it with compost and stocked it with those crawler snakes. I never run out of worms. I have an old mineral bucket that I am thinking about burying in the yard and doing the same thing. blue79 Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Thats nice..Im gonna get me a bed ready for the summer..When it rains really hard the church parking lot is covered with nightcrawlers. If i get there before they get baked i would have enough for all year.
oneshot Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 I just have them in a Tub in the Garage with Dirt, Peat Moss and News Paper. Been feeding them Vegetable Scraps, Coffee Grounds, ground Egg Shell and Laying Mash. oneshot
