Members ges Posted April 12, 2014 Members Posted April 12, 2014 Fished all day bite for us came in 8 to 10 ft of water throw to bank then slow, SLOW retrieve, we had one limit of good slabs , caught several shorts, few small bass , just enough to keep us going all day , we fished just south of the bridge near power line then banks with brush on them , went to point 15 caught two , Bobby Garland baby shad (hologram ghost) 1/16 oz jig head is what we used mostly, Sorry no pic will try to figure it out . Just glad to post something good

Members Mike Ray Posted April 12, 2014 Members Posted April 12, 2014 I found some nice slabs yesterday back in a Bridgeport cove.1/6 th head with black and blue or black and red grub. SLOW retrieve very lite bitters. I think they about to get it on. mine were full of eggs. hope we don't get this cold front they talkin about but...............sure was nice yesterday. tried it up Flat creek. and James side of 13 only one male. went to the cove late afternoon.
