Members Stuartwp Posted December 24, 2006 Members Posted December 24, 2006 I got in trouble for checking the name tags too hard under the Chrismas tree. It sure felt like a new fishing reel to me but only time will tell. Since I have been kicked out of the family room, I am here on the Forum wondering if it possible to catch carp on canned corn in the winter time? I didn't know if anybody out there had any exeriance with this or not?
MoCarp Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 yes, infact the carp club I belong to has a contest every new years, with prizes for carp caught during the coldest waters, its called the F.F.F http://www.carpanglersgroup.com/cagevents.html I have fished it the last couple of years and we have had mild weather, if its mild this year I thought I would try it again if anyone is interested "or foolhardy" to join some of us shoot a PM Mo MONKEYS? what monkeys?
Members costanza Posted January 17, 2007 Members Posted January 17, 2007 Their metabolic rate slows in the wintertime, but they still feed somewhat actively for short periods of time throughout the day. They are catchable in the wintertime, but more difficult, adding to the addiction of fishing.... the challenge..
MoCarp Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 MDC agent Nuck Nuffsinger "sp?" weighed one last Jan/early Feb that was in the low 40's they thought it was a state record "about 55 pounds" Mo--looking for that record! MONKEYS? what monkeys?
