Seth
Fished below the buoys noon till dark Thirsday. Ended up with three limits of crappie and 21 white bass. Friday we fished again from 9-4pm and ended with 24 crappie, 12 whites and 6 blue cats about a pound each. The gar kept eatings our jigs and minnows as well and we hooked many and landed about a dozen. Minnows worked the best. The bite was slow during the day and got really good the last few hours of the day. The fish were holding right on the bottom in 20-30' in the main channel side. Wayne SW/MO
Were they running water? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Wayne SW/MO
I suspected as much with the crappie being out at the cable, but you never know. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Seth
I didn't see much of anything being caught in the dead channel and it was crammed full of boats. The boats in the main channel were doing much better overall from what I observed.
