Thinkin about goin down to blunks in galena around 4. Would I be able to catch many whites from the bank around that time? Will probably only be able to stay a few hours cuz the wife will probably be on my case otherwise lol

You probly wont do to well around the ramp but if you go up the trails to the gravle bar you will have a better chance.

I've went twice down there and came back empty handed...that's y she doesn't like me goin there lol

Hope you did well if you went. The entire area down there isn't worth going to in my opinion unless you have a boat. At the least you need waders. Hope it was worth your time, it sure wasn't worth mine and my son's time the few times that we've went.

I did pretty good this evening caught my limit in two and a half hours or so my buddy ended up with 7 before we got to cold to stand in the water any longer.

Thanks fishslayer, I think I am going now. Looks like the weather will hold up until early Sunday morning. Hoping to catch them in a feeding frenzy before the front moves through. Last time I was down there was a couple of years ago and I struck out so I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this trip!
